MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He worked together with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, he described the importance of music as a requirement. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while a young child. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian advised him to go for singing classes with an Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed his entire life.
