Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actress. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively in ABC's Lost television show. Her parents had divorced and they moved together with their mother to Los Angeles. They were struggling to make ends meet at the time she landed her first acting role in Rachel's Room's main character. After earning a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal of Murder In Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace was able to take home the award. Grace appeared as Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal protagonist for two seasons and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was a co-star with Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, decided to make the move to film. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) on Suburban Girl and The Jane Austen Book Club. She reprised the role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the character as Shannon in two more episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. She also appeared in the sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith as a groupie, as well as a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She subsequently starred in the comedy and dramas Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). She also appeared as an Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action thriller that was released in 2013. She also played a musician as Frank (2014), a musician Frank (2014) as well as the lead role in The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of the year 2018. Gyllenhaal's first film as a writer and director was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama in which she won an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award.
